Dedes 06.12.24	Ty for opening me to the skronklords Coalesce. Functioning on Impatience is still my favorite but I appreciate that they toe the line between wonky angry metalcore into more groove-oriented territories in later albums. They all skronk with variety.

Mort. 06.12.24	so yeah there are tons of bands on here i see dropping out of the top 100, quite a lot im baffled by that can only be explained by heavy play in 2013-2015 which is when i first joined sput and my taste was going through the most turmoil/upheaval/revolutions bands i see dropping out the hardest from their current positions are: 1. dance gavin dance 2. enter shikari 3. the dillinger escape plan (the older i get the less i rate these guys as much) 4. architects 5. baths 6. cutting pink with knives (ewwwwwwww, if you want an indication of how long ago i was into this band i think they were my first review) 7. arsonists get all the girls (again wtf how is this band this high?) 8. american football (might have to revisit this to see if its still a 5, i almost never listen to this band anymore) 9. crystal castles - never listen to these guys anymore for background ick reasons 10. bring me the horizon (very surprised these guys are in my top 100 most listened, they were a big part of my teenage years but by the time i got last fm i cant imagine i was listening to them much. i guess i do go back and revisit them every few years and always check out their new albums) 11. Comadre - wtf? i listened to like one album by this band pretty regularly in 2013ish, no idea why theyre on here. i know one song by them lol then tbh almost all of the last 30 or so are liable to drop out very easily

Mort. 06.12.24	when i first joined sputnik i was excited and overwhelmed by a lot of bands being recced to me and sorta jumped the gun by listening to a lot of albums without replaying them much or adding them to playlists (i might not have even had spotify properly at that point) Misery Signals are one of those bands. like ive apparently heard all their albums but i remember nothing (their debut is an exception, good album im quite familiar with)

Their relatively small discography is probably what keeps their legacy intact. Broke up (originally) at the height of their creative power. Never got stale or complacent.
