11.11.16 | I like all of Mercyful Fate's releases, but to be honest it took me a long fucking time to get into King's vocals post In the Shadows. He couldn't get as high in his falsetto as before, which I thought sounded awkward. Dead Again was the last MF record I bought. I never saw any positive reviews of it, so I thought it was an awful record. I was only surprised when I first heard it. It's fucking heavy and contains great musicianship. The t/t drags on a bit, but it's also my favorite tune on the album. I love the riffs and King's vocals does not sound as embarrasing as on Time or Into the Unknown (I really like Into the Unknown too!) |

I always enjoyed In The Shadows and Time the most since the comeback, never once have i thought the vocals were embarrassing |
