08.29.13 | Dude, yeah Rick Rubin. haha that guys fucking been around! Im a huge fan of all the work the Chili Peppers came out when working with him. Cory Taylor can talk as much shit as he wants but Vol. 3 is arguably the best Slipknot album and that happened to be the one he says Rubin "Produced"... hha

08.29.13 | Colin Richardson fools
at least when he was given a decent amount of recording budget |
Dolving999
08.29.13 | Kurt Ballou, even though every other Deathwish record is now produced by him and the sound is honestly getting a bit tiring (Code Orange Kids, every other "angry hardcore" band). |

08.29.13 | Steve Albini is NOT a good producer IMO. |

08.29.13 | No MORE Kurt Ballou or Will Yip! lol those guys do every album on the highschoolers ipods now a days!! haha
STEVE ALBINI IS NOT A GREAT PRODUCER. However, he is a fuckin' GENIUS tracking engineer. He does like ZERO production which is why yes, I do think he is a poor "producer" if youre looking for that... But most of the time I just want to hear a good performance and the true sonic quality of Steve Albini's catalog is unrivaled to do this day.
I personally LOVE what he did with In Utero and how it sounds but i TOTALLY understand why people don't and people were so let down with it after Nevermind.
Ill have to check out Martin Hannett |
