Also, I tend to use Sputnik only while at work, so I'm perhaps mostly communicating with guys who are winding down during their evenings. Although, lots of users Sputnik at work too, so maybe that's not it either... I think a manditory census is in order?

Il est assez difficile de participer sérieusement aux discussions du site quand la moitié est constituée de memes ou de privates jokes. Même si mon niveau d'anglais est assez bon, il est difficile de tout comprendre.

It is quite difficult to participate seriously in the discussions of the site when half consists of memes or privates jokes. Even though my level of English is good enough, it's hard to understand everything.

Azertherion 12.13.17	To be frank I've been visiting the website quite often for more than a year now, and I still don't feel like i'm part of the community at all. This a a lot to do with the fact that I don't do lists and doesn't comment much, even thought by the time I've been on the website I didn't actually seen a lot of new users getting involved in the website's life. Most of the time new users are just alts trolling for some random reason (which is another thing that can be quite repulsive for newcomers)

bloc 12.13.17	That first period of making a list, undergoing the flaming for being a troll / having a shitty opinion, writing essays as your first few comments, etc is a rough period indeed haha. I can see why people will make less than 50 comments in the first few days and then never come back. At the other end of the spectrum, you have guys with 3000+ comments within their first year, so it can certainly go both ways lol
