| My Top 10 Albums
Obviously my top ten favorite albums ever. If you don't like them, then we'll agree to disagree. | 1 | | Dispatch Bang Bang
This was the first album I ever heard by Dispatch and it was a breath of fresh air for me. I must have listened to this over 1000 times already since I got it a year ago. If you haven't heard of Dispatch, I think you need to find em. | 2 | | The John Butler Trio Grand National
I got Grand National the day it was released. This album flows like none other. It covers many genres, has some of the most insane guitar I've ever heard, has very good lyrics, and should be the album of 2007. I thought no John Butler album would ever top Sunrise Over Sea. This one straight blew it out of the water. | 3 | | Sublime 40 Oz. To Freedom
My favorite album by my favorite band. Bradley's lyrics and guitar work never fail to amaze me. I love to chill out to this album. | 4 | | Bob Marley & The Wailers Exodus
The only reason I chose this album over Legend is because it flows so well. It also includes my favorite Marley song, Three Little Birds. | 5 | | Slightly Stoopid Closer to the Sun
Stoopid's catchy reggae/ska guitars are nothing short of euphoric. Closer to the Sun is the only Stoopid album I can listen to straight through. I just love the way these guys play. | 6 | | Jack Johnson In Between Dreams
This album is so chill. It reminds me of last summer and the awesome times I had every time I listen to it. I will never forget the awesome times and the friends I chilled with thanks to this album. | 7 | | State Radio Us Against the Crown
Who doesn't love this album? The lyrics are so catchy [even my mom sings along!] Anyways, great musicianship and a solid effort all around for State Radio's debut. | 8 | | Rage Against the Machine Evil Empire
I love the cover of this album, but the music is better. Bulls on Parade is one of my all-time favorite songs. I don't normally listen to heavy rock, but de la Rocha's voice and lyrics are so sick. This album makes me want to start a riot. | 9 | | O.A.R. 34th & 8th
This is by far the best live album I've ever heard. O.A.R. is 10 times better live, and I could listen to this over and over again. I don't have much else to say, except for "Go buy this album" | 10 | | Red Hot Chili Peppers Stadium Arcadium
I was deciding if I should put another Dispatch or Sublime song on the list. But then it seems like I only listen to these couple bands. So I guess I might include my favorite Chili Peppers album... | |

05.17.07 | well it does seem doubtful you've heard more than 3 of these albums.. ;)
Judging by your activity on the site, that is! | iarescientists
05.17.07 | Seeing as how you seem to like ska and all, I'm suprised you haven't listened to Catch 22/Streetlight Manifesto or any other Tomas Kalnoky band. I'm not a big fan of the genre, but I really love his stuff. | dub sean
05.17.07 | you inspired me to pick up Keasbey Nights with your review and I really liked it. Streetlight Manifesto is okay, but I'm just gettin into ska. I was born with reggae. | Two-Headed Boy
05.17.07 | Congrats on Sublime and Slightly Stoopid. | RandyfromPennywise
05.18.07 | Personally I love Grand National, Exodus, In Between Dreams, Evil Empire and Stadium Arcadium. However I would say that Grand National and Exodus are the only albums of those mentioned that I would class as the best from that band. Personally I prefer Californication or By The Way from the Peppers, the self-titled album from Rage, and On and On from Jack. Actually In Between Dreams is probably as awesome. Anyway, decent list man. | musicalfuel
11.28.08 | Enough with the fucking Chili Peppers. I can't escape them. Jesus. |
