Favorite Tv Shows (excluding Animated)

My favorite tv shows that aren't animated and albums that remind me of them haha. Feel free to comment ur favorites as long as they don't include jersey shore, pretty little liars or glee.
1Time To Burn
Is.Land

Dexter
-No matter what progress Dexter makes as a human being, no matter what human-esque feelings he begins to develop, Dexter can be best described as a barren wasteland, whose true self is extremely bleak, yet somehow vividly insightful. Hence Is.Land I also considered BATS-Red In Tooth and Claw but I decided it was to upbeat at times? idk
2Raekwon
Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... Pt II

Breaking Bad
-Self explanatory haha. Jk, even besides the various references to drugs and "cooking" on this album, the feel of tracks such as Surgical Gloves or Pyrex Vision just make me think of Breaking Bad's explicit manufacturing process of meth, and also the growth of many characters.
3Sunny Day Real Estate
Diary

Mad Men
-Hard to explain. It was the first album that came to mind, and until I listen to seven again, I wasn't able to figure out why. Just the emotional feel of the album kind of describes to me how Don feels all the time, hiding from his true self. Especially when Don begins to write in a journal after his downward spiral.
4Trophy Scars
Darkness, Oh Hell

Californication.
-NO FUCKING CLUE! Just something about how no matter how raunchy or upbeat or maybe even happy Hank/the show is, there is a dark undertone. Especially nearing the end of season 3 and all of this season. The s3 finale was honestly depressing, and this season definitely has some seriously depressing underlying themes.
5Amia Venera Landscape
The Long Procession

Supernatural
-Supernatural is incredibly funny at times, and the emotional connection created between Sam/dean and the audience is a great one, but everything they do after season 1 seems like a "...Long Procession". Maybe this album isn't right because Supernatural has just as many fun moments to dark, and this album does not, but idk it works from a certain POV
