Bob Marley is a Foo

Here are some awesome reggae albums that are superior to anything that Bob Marley recorded.
1Peter Tosh
Legalize It

Tosh was actually a member of the "Wailing Wailers." After a tussle with Bob he left the band, and it's a good thing or else we would have never heard this.
2 Toots & Maytals
Funky Kingston

Somefunky reggae with a hint of ska. Most of the songs on here are upbeat and accessible, a must for fans of reggae or first wave ska.
3 UB40
Labour of Love

This is more chilled out reggae that allows you to kick back and relax. This is a cover album, yet UB40 create a mellow and Jamaican atmosphere.
4 Desmond Dekker

Dekker just passed away a few months ago, but his influence lives on. A wonderful combo of both laid-back reggae and heartwarming ska. Dekker has such a heartwarming voice.
5 Augustus Pablo
Ital Dub

This is my favorite dub album. The music can get a tad reptitive at times but Pablo does a great job by adding in subtle effects throughout certain songs.
6 I Roy
Heart of a Lion

Not noted as one of his best albums, but my personal favorite. There are some jazzy rhythms and slick melodies featured on here, this is a great album to get up and "skank" to.
