As a bassist these albums are awesome bass albums. If there are any that you feel i missed, please let it be known. BTW these aren't in any order.
1Death From Above 1979
You're A Woman, I'm A Machine

It's just bass and drums! And it sounds great!
2Living Colour
Vivid

One that everyone forgits about, but this gem is chalked full of great bass.
3Mudvayne
L.D. 50

A metal classic, and Ryan totally kills it on this one.
4Red Hot Chili Peppers
One Hot Minute

It's so hard to pick from one Chili Peppers album but i like this one a bit more than the others.
5Primus
Sailing The Seas of Cheese

Again which Primus album to pick. But this is a really solid album.
6Iron Maiden
Killers

Steve Harris is an amazing bassist, and it really shines through here
7Incubus
Fungus Amongus

It's funk-tastic
8He is Legend
I Am Hollywood

Some really innovative riffs that Matt Williams does on here.
9Blind Melon
Blind Melon

Totally didn't expect the bass work that come out of this album. I was pleasently surprised.
10Black Sabbath
We Sold Our Soul For Rock And Roll

One word... Bass solo. 'Nuff said
11Tool
Aenima

This is one of my favorites. Great stuff
12Sublime
40 Oz. to Freedom

It's great. the bass lines have that suttle groove to it and it's awesome.
13Rage Against The Machine
Rage Against The Machine

Any bassist that can come up with funky ass shit that works with Tom Morello is great himself
14 Les Claypool's Frog Brigade
Live Frogs

This is different than primus, i don't care what anybody says. It's a great listen.
15 Nathan Hughes
Anything!!!

I'm so mad that this guy doesn't have anything out yet. I would pay anything for an album from him. He's probably one of the best basstist i've heard of.
