If you want good affordable classical music buy Naxos. Most of their stuff is cheap and pretty good quality. Baroque -Vivaldi - The Four Seasons -Bach - Toccata and Fugue in D minor, Cello Sonatas, The Well-tempered Klavier -Handel - Water Music Classical -Mozart - Symphonies 39 & 41, Piano Sonatas 11 and 16 -Beethoven - Symphonies 3, 6 and 9, Piano Sonatas 8, 14 and 29 Early Romantic -Liszt - Liebestraume -Chopin - 24 Preludes, Etudes Books I & II -Schumann - Wintereisse, Intermezzos -Wagner - Die Walkure Late Romantic -Dvorak - Symphony No. 9 -Tchaikovsky - The Nutcracker Ballet,, Swan Lake, The Seasons, Symphony No. 5 -Mussorgsky - A Night on Bald Mountain, Pictures at an Exhibition -Dukas - The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Symphony in C -Satie - Gymnopedies, Sarabandes, Gnossienes -Grieg - Piano Concerto in A minor, Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 I mean, I could go on, but you're starting off. There is so music good classical out there. It's easy to feel overwhelmed by it all, but just pick one thing and go from there.

Athom 08.29.09	you can't go wrong with taylormemer's recs. for orchestral music I'm partial to Handel's Water Music, Debussy's Nocturnes, and Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition.
