Hey sputnik, no one of you seems to share my tastes but I don't mind so here are some fresh tunes I'm happy I hadn't missed.

Comfortably detached darkwave or ambient rock, AOTY (contender) arrived on January 5th this time around. Continuation of Contro.Luce, one of their best.

Intelligent darkwave synthpop, danceable and doomed.

Drone ambient classics came up with their best album in many years.

Silent Streets

Mount Shrine-inspired peaceful foggy rainy drones.

Ghostly symphonic ambient in vein of HOEDh and Deaf Center.

Beauty-and-brutality melodeath crossover from Jari Lindholm.

Quite solid industrial-tinged dark ambient from the classics.

In Times of Dragons

Some uneasy David Lynch atmospheres with a pinch of fairy tales, reminding of Angelo Badalamenti and even Portishead.
