Deez
09.01.25 | Horrendous |
Rawmeeth38
09.01.25 | Actually not best hip hop albums |
brickhed
09.01.25 | hey tundra, im actually being serious about this, where is limp bizkit and brokeNCYDE? you have to do hip hop at least some service here |
Emim
09.01.25 | I'm more surprised you've listened to 10 hip hop albums |
Tundra
09.02.25 | Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, Tupac, Biggie are the space invaders of hip hop. Solid. Paved the way. Deserves respect. Far from the best of the best though. The Black Album made the sound way more accessible and catchy. Easily repayable. JID and Immortal Tachnique just takes flow and lyrical ability to the next level. Much more conviction in their performances, and better harder hitting punchlines. City Morgue made hip hop more aggressive than ever before, which is awesome. Quadeca is the peak of emo rap. I know you guys are too macho to experience any emotion but just know that he is. |

I know this is bait, but come on lol.
"Quadeca is the peak of emo rap. I know you guys are too macho to experience any emotion but just know that he is."
You mean the Sleep Token of "rap". Dude makes some of the worst music associated with hip-hop that I've ever heard. You can't seriously call this guy better than Nas, Biggie, Pac, etc lol. |
JoyfulPlatypus
09.02.25 | There's a concerning lack of Paul's Boutique on this list. |

Same energy as that Patrick Bateman monologue about Huey Lewis & the news right before he cuts jared leto's head off |

09.04.25 | Not a single Chief Keef album |
Drifter
09.04.25 | why do people with the least amount of credibility always speak on hip hop and who is "far from the best of the best"
if u think rap wasn't accessible or aggressive before the black album or city fucking morgue then you really are a perpetually 15 year old scottish boy |

Tundra
09.05.25 | Little Simz made hip hop more lavish and grandiose than ever before. Logic perfected r&b and hip hop fusion, and also perfected hip hop production. His beats are the best in hip hop I've ever heard. |
Tundra
09.05.25 | Did not have Logic there initially cause I once again got caught up in the "he's corny" narrative. Fuck that. He's one of the best to ever do it. |
brickhed
09.05.25 | Logic is indeed ethereal hip hop agreed |

09.06.25 | My taste in rap is stuck in a time capsule from 20 years ago so I can’t refute any of this |
bach
09.06.25 | tundra you're the man. id rather talk to someone who likes what they like rather than someone who puts a bunch of 90s hip hop on their ranked list just to impress the older user base. listen to the almighty so mixtape by chief keef. |
Drifter
09.07.25 | because that happens allllllll the time here |

09.07.25 | this list got me thinking, what the hell happened to Run the Jewels on this site? |
