Also, depending on the day I might also prefer Kill and Torture to Tomb of the Mutilated, but that depends on if I'm in a Corpsegrinder/technical perfection or Chris Barnes/gross horror kind of mood. Everything else is pretty accurate though for albums @Hawks - can't remember if I heard that one, but Passages and Chapters are straight fire
Relinquished 03.28.25	Ulcerate - Everything Is Fire I love 90s dm so much but this album is well-written, well-produced, well-executed, lyrically solid, it riffs hard and they’re fun, the drumming is top-tier, the whole thing flows well and is well-structured. been my answer now for 10+ years

I heard it first in 2012 or 2013, but didn't fully realize how batshit insane of a record it is until probably 5 or 6 years ago. Album is just fucking nuts and it's pretty easily my #1 these days, if not tied with Nespithe

DarkSideOfLucca 03.28.25	Ok fine, I'll listen to Everything is Fire today I haven't listened to too much Ulcerate because honestly to me it's just so fucking exhausting to listen to because of how overwhelmingly dense it is lol - for whatever reason, Stare Into Death is the one that REALLY stood out to me on first listen, and I still adore the fuck out of that album But I do need to give Everything is Fire more attention - it's just...so fucking dense
