The Multi Pronged Vocal Attack
The multi pronged vocalist attack - rare, but can be hella effective. And I'm not talking about Beauty and the Beast vocals here, or the Eagles. But 2 (or more) vocalists that harmonize with or complement each other, and/or feed off each other's energies. My favs are included in 1 through 21. 22 to 25 aren't bad, but are questionable as to whether they add or detract. 26 - not sure what to say but WTF? 27 - Still processing. |

Brandon Saller (clean vocals) and Alex Varkatzas (harsh vocals). Liked Atreyu, but never was the hugest fan of Alex' harsh vocals. Prefer the more recent albums with more of Brandon Saller. |
| 23 | | System of a Down Hypnotize
Serj Tankian and Daron Malakian. Think they complemented each other - and dig Daron's vocals on Scars on Broadway. However, Daron shouldn't have been singing lead as much as he was - and should have kept his vocals in the background. |
| 24 | | Sevendust Home
Lajon Witherspoon (clean and harsh vocals) and Morgan Rose (harsh vocals, drumming). Don't really think Lajon needs any help - his harsh vocals are more than adequate. |
| 25 | | Lacuna Coil Delirium
Christina Scabbia (clean vocals) and Andrea Ferro (clean vocals prior, harsh vocals nowadays). Prefer Andrea singing in harsh vocal style nowadays. Not sure he was actually needed on the earlier albums. |
| 26 | | Hollywood Undead Swan Songs
6 (or more) vocalists/rappers. A bit LP, a lot more Crazytown with Blink 182 sensibilities. |
