BallsToTheWall 03.22.25	Not a long list but as of recent I’ve been on a huge kick. Going to have to bust open the old dvd case and binge watch some classics like I did tonight with The Professionals.

Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid... I like Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More... The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford for something more recent... still got a bunch to check though

EyesWideShut 03.22.25	Bone Tomahawk is a Balls movie.. I also dig these joints Dead Man The Proposition Unforgiven High Plans Drifter Those old classics with The Duke are worth a watching of course

Wildcardbitchesss 03.22.25	High Plains Drifter fucking rocks I’ll add a few 21st century hits to this Slow West Coen’s True Grit The Proposition and fuck it Hell or High Water, it’s a western. I don’t care that it’s not a period piece but that movie is absolutely a western. Anyone got some good “modern” westerns like that for me?

Emim 03.22.25	Logan is essentially a modern western too. I enjoyed The Magnificent Seven as a popcorn flick. True Grit remake was amazing

EyesWideShut 03.22.25	if any of yall like books I read and excellent western called Warlock by Oakley Hall last year.. Felt like the blueprint for Deadwood with a wide range of characters and town setting.. Also McCabe and Mrs. Miller is a good cold weather western

Zac124 03.22.25	Not big on westerns tbh but my favourites have been The Hateful Eight, Django Unchained, Blazing Saddles and The Good the Bad and the Weird.

BallsToTheWall 03.22.25	The Magnificent 7 remake I’m not gonna lie like more than the OG. The original screwed up by killing people off at the end. @budgie that’s badass. And tbh I like Few Dollars More a bit more than Good, Bad and the Ugly mostly because I’m a fanboy of a babyface Lee Van Cleef.
Zac124 03.22.25	I haven't seen the OG Magnificent Seven but I have seen Seven Samurai, which absolutely destroys the Magnificent Seven remake.
BallsToTheWall 03.22.25	Oh damn, we’ll have to make a samurai movie next. The Sword of doom is still one of the coldest fucking movies I’ve ever seen.

BallsToTheWall 03.22.25	I’d say the thing I miss most about my 20’s in the 2010’s isn’t actually partying or anything superficial like that, surprisingly, but Movie Stop. I found so many gems over there in the past regardless of genre and it’s inspired me to bust out my dvd case recently. I will also be purchasing dvds again to continue to add on to my Collection.

kildare 03.23.25	I can't recommend Eastwood's Unforgiven enough. But it's not what you expect in a Western, a lot of people hate it, and if you should ever check it you may come back and ask me "what the fuck?" and I'll defend my position. "Hateful 8": I'd love to consider myself a Tarantino devotee, but I still haven't seen this one. Or Django, or Bastards, or a few others. Yikes. Better get going

Wildcardbitchesss 03.23.25	Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is kinda hard… I would def say it’s the least “Tarantino”, there’s barely any violence and hardly any tension throughout the whole movie. The best way I can describe it is think about QT’s style of humor and think about what if he made a whole movie like that. For sure the closest he’s come to making a full blown comedy, personally I still dig it a lot but it’s on the lower end of the spectrum.
BallsToTheWall 03.23.25	Love Lady Snowblood, Shogun Assassin, Liberty Valanxe and Josey Wales/ Pale Rider. Gonna have to get a library card and see what movies the library has to rent. If they still have dvds that is. Also add Appaloosa.
