Pika is 50/50 overall, but very wise when it comes to osdm. osmark has very good taste. He'll likely vanish from the site very soon, so I'll have to absorb as much of his knowledge as possible until then. Shadow's ratings are also correct. Would have namedropped Hawks, but he likes Cradle of Filth (and Roseanne) too much and still hasn't checked Gudveiki, so his arguments are invalid. Trif and nash on Meshuggah threads fs.

I haven’t seen Xing in forever but we used to hop in the Code Orange Kids thread every few months and talk about how much shittier they got when they dropped the “Kids” Dewi has a couple of great reviews for Chelsea Wolfe and King Woman that I completely agree with. Oh and me and jay have an undying love for Sunbather and we both traveled to Chicago to see it live but unfortunately couldn’t get our shit together enough to meet up. Both of us love Touché Amore and Static Dress as well. I know im missing some but those are the ones that stick out to me.

NexCeleris 03.13.25	The non-AAA death metal crowd is thin on the ground on modern Sput, but I find that the vast majority of users I'd count among that group are often spot-on in their assessments — based on their repective ideas of what does and doesn't constitute good music anyways. They all have their pet peeves, which makes the (increasingly rare) discussions on new releases way more intriguing than, say, comments on RYM or circlejerks on Reddit. As someone who enjoys most of the genre's facets, I could have easily named another ten or so users here, for example Frost with his tendency to talk in superlatives, Jac, who hardly rates anything anymore and comments on only the finest of albums, or melter, who will often be among the first to dig up outstanding bdm. Titan, cyl, Cross, Fear, sonic — the list goes on. Not Jurtz tho, coz he likes bad slam albums while underrating other, good bdm releases, probably due to his room-temp IQ (♥). Love your eleborate posts, Demon. Never change.
