Mix Tape Series - 8
In June 2000, my mental space was not the best. I had, in late 1999, broken up with the love of my life (up to that time). I was moving forward - and working on my Masters - and at the same time in the work force (part-time). But I was also a lost puppy in the world. I prepared a mix tape around this time called "J Mix 2000". This mix tape culled from primarily nu metal. |

Know that Korn headed up side B, based on the case. But unsure what exact song. Most likely "Falling Away From Me" (a song I was listening to alot after my 1999 breakup) - but could also have been "Let's Get this Party Started" (another of my favorite song off Issues). |

Unfortunately, this tape was not in the best of condition. The tape had actually separated from the reel - and I had to tape it back on (damaging the tape in the process). Also, it was a TDK Bass 120, which allowed for the number of songs on this list - but also requires a strong tape player to play (due to amount of tape). There were three more bands written on the case, which were close to the ends of Sides A and B, which I was not able to listen to (tape kept getting caught in the player). So, I don't know exactly what songs from these three albums were on there. But I really dug "Drop the Hammer" from this album. |
| 31 | | Sugar Ray Lemonade And Brownies
Most likely "10 Seconds Down" from the Escape from L.A. Soundtrack - really loved that song in the late 1990's. Also could have been something off Floored, but not "Fly". |
| 32 | | Dial-7 Never Enough Time
Unknown what song. But likely “Present Day”, that song slaps. |
