| Mix Tape Series - 6
In 1999, I culled my favorite bands and songs, and placed them on a single mix tape. These were the songs that I had been listening to steady since 1996, throughout college. Looking back - turns out it was the "who's, who" of early nu metal at the time. Named this mix tape - Songs I Know by Heart". 01.15.25 | Bear in mind that I have little to no idea what’s on these tapes - until I play them. Not like there’s a nice case or anything for most mix tapes. If lucky, some band names may be written on the side. So each is a nice little time capsule and surprise. Kinda tells you where ur head was at, at the time - in this case, a quarter century ago. |
