Let me take a look at your fives

Please comment below if you want me to analyze your favorites. Keep in mind, I’m just a dude with an opinion. I’ll do a write up for each submission. This will take a long time
1This Will Destroy You
Young Mountain

Have at it
2Circa Survive
Juturna

jrlikestodance: a tribe called quest, boards of canada, and circa survive are all great. didn't know donald trump was a band lmfao.... the lovely madviliany is in your faves. RIP that was a pretty universally loved one. you've got a couple OG picks in here like nirvana-nvm, and underoath-dtgl. I'm not a prince fan, was also funny seeing ugk in there lol. all in all? I like your picks. there are some I did not recognize, so I cannot comment further on this particular list of faves! also, shout out to janet jackson
3Hammock
Departure Songs

budget: let's get hammock, and twdy out of the way. of course we vibe on those. big black metal fan it seems? in general just a huge metal fan (this site do be that way) scrolling down a little more, and you have 1827460187 hammock albums 4.5'd. bring those to your fives next time my friend. you're one of my faves on the site
4Slowdive
Souvlaki

zac124: we already click due to the numbers in our usernames. later slow dive is way better imo, but that's besides the point. lets dig in.. you love iron maiden, and I don't see a lot of people on here with such high praise for them! I personally never got into opeth, but I have been told to by my friend futures. even though I don't have System of a Down self titled rated doesn't mean it wasn't a staple in my childhood. I used to try to skateboard, and I sucked. serj tankian had my back though. one more shout out I would give is that children of bodom album. I also grew up with them too. I like having you around
5Death
Infernal Live

smok: oh wow where to begin.... I know you love death metal and power metal. I have jammed deicide before, and it was overall a good time. one thing about you that I enjoy is that you seem intelligent. I don't have many takes on your fives besides the deicide album (which was good). I'm a softy
6All That Remains
The Fall of Ideals

emim: you seem to love older metal of the 2010's. I want to agree with you about a couple of these. both underoath albums you have here are supreme. ratm self titled is way fun.. I love emery, but imo you picked the wrong album to rep. one last thing I wanna say is I cannot listen to led zep anymore. that only happened a few years ago, because I got so sick and tired of being sick and tired of the same old songs. as a user, I would never bump you out of my list. so don't think that
7Sage Francis
Personal Journals

slothcoresam: woah we appear to both love sage francis. solid rapper. r kelly trapped in the closet is a choice though dude hahahah......propaghandi is a fun band too. never got into bad religion, but ill take your word for it. tbh my taste isn't all that good so I cannot judge,. I'm not sure what fela kuti is, but you seem to like their music a lot. happy new year
8mewithoutYou
Pale Horses

johnnyofthewell: wow I don’t really recognize anything in your fives besides the one I posted here. Would have been funny to see a random death core album in there, but since knowing you that would not be your thing. However, you did turn me to check out youle’s latest album based from your review of it. I very much disliked glitch princess though. The latest is one of my favorite albums of all time. I’m a fan of yours, even if others are not
9Ludwig van Beethoven
Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92

dadkungfu: I don’t find many users that five classical music. I’ll make it about me for a sec, I love playing piano by ear. I totally love his influence towards classical music. RIP. I think you would enjoy balmorhea. A neo-classical approach to music these days. It’s beautiful. Also digging around in here I noticed you enjoy mozart. Check out the balmorhea albums I have fived. You may be pleasantly surprised
10Metallica
Ride The Lightning

theantichrist: you seem fake. we call it “having an alt” in the business. Big metallica lover. Wouldn’t catch you anywhere with a Napster tramp stamp I’m sure of it. Ariana Grande seems malnourished, but I’m sure it’s fine. Her quick wit comical presence is totally on par with the kind of humor I enjoy. She’s likely a disaster irl, but looks and comedy make up for it. Musically speaking? Not a fan. She killed Mac miller remember??? Lawl. Have a good one you alt loving swine
11Anal Cunt
Picnic of Love

concubinarycode: well, shout out to anal cunt I suppose lmao... I never got into the touch amore beat a dead horse album, and I have been told I'm a fool for that in the past!! I'll have to revisit that thing. interesting choice on that ismof album I haven't heard of. only remember the slaughter album. I don't remember it being bad, but I was pretty young at the time. probably doesn't hold up. but who knows! have a good one
12Skee Mask
Pool

cylinder: honestly there isn't a whole lot I recognize here!! I very recently got into skee mask though, and through most of what I heard I've become a huge fan. I do believe I've jammed iron lung in the past, but it's been years so I don't really have recollection of it. you're the only user here that has rated that brutal shift album. im a huge fan of ambient, so maybe ill add it to my favorites tab to check out later. if you think there's anything here that may be potentially up my alley let me know! again, not recognizing a lot here
13Outkast
Aquemini

fowlkrietzsche: who doesn't love em some old outcast. a coworker recently got me into their older stuff earlier last year. solid jams. this might get me jumped, but I really didn't care for that eif album by ulcerate. for the most part, the production bothered me. wasn't bad though. I haven't listened to anything by carissas wierd besides songs about leaving. I can't really mentally handle that album anymore rofl I tell ya.. that was fun that one time we had to set the record straight with a user that 9/11 wasn't an inside job!! what a cock head... anyways, I like what you listen to!! talk soon
14Third Eye Blind
Third Eye Blind

affablemartyr: I like your username dude! you also have a ton of ratings, but thanks for making my life easier because you seldomly five things it seems. we are DEFINITELY on the same page regarding third eye blind self titled. to be honest its probably a top five album within my personal fives. there's some beautiful stuff in there with very relatable lyrics. I heard the frontman is a twat, but I don't give a fuck. classic 2pac album in here too. I don't believe I have any of his stuff rate though? he's also still alive (yeah im in that crowd) 9/11 is real, however his death was not. ^_^ the only carcass album I've jammed was surgical steel. I was high as balls, and I think it somewhat scared me at times!! hah may have been the edibles I took though that made it seem like too much for me. one last thing is I remember being fond of that senses fail album when I was younger. thanks for letting me peep!
15ISIS
Oceanic

swallowtales: my buddy nex has told me to check out isis, and they seem beloved on this site. I must be dropping the ball!! you also have the only kendrick lamar album fived that's worth a shit imo. I really don't understand the hype on him as a whole. don't shoot me people. touch amore stage four is so damn sad, but im happy the vocalist had an outlet to let out his emotions about the situation! gorillaz self titled was fun back in the day too. idk if its a me problem, but I didn't like that shai hulud album, but as a whole I am a fan of the band. forget the main writers name, but he's got some solid ideas and made some sweet sweet tunes. lil ugly mane is something I haven't been interested in simply due to the name! typical read the headline, but not the actual article mentality. guilty as charged 0.0 any new years resolutions? or are you not a simpleton fuck? cheers bud
16Atheist
Piece Of Time

kkarron: we vibe on atheist. I used to jam them a bit because they were so well proclaimed. to me, their jazz influence was really cool back in the day. besides black sabbath, I really don't recognize a lot of your fives. I dig your avi though. I never got into the cure, but I have been told I should do so... continue being you!!
17Pink Floyd
Animals

radiosuicide: what does your username mean? I like it though.. it's strange because I've never given pink floyd an honest chance. the only song I ever liked from them was comfortably numb. I've been meaning to check out jane doe for the longest time. I've been slacking on music that seems worthy of checking is my main point. a lot of your fives look like something I've seen before, but never checked out. that's on me player. I hope you had a really good day
18Childish Gambino
Because the Internet

scurofantasma: hey you. I really respect what don glover brings to the table. multifaceted human being that can do it all. that being said, I don't like his music. you also seem to love mastodon. im not big on prog metal very much these days, but I understand why they are well received. I know kanye became nuts over time, but college dropout was a solid release. slow jamz, and through the wire were two songs I enjoyed a lot back in the day. take care
19Gorguts
Colored Sands

evilford: ahhh, one of the sites many dm loving saints. although when you post "smoking cigs, and jamming dm right now bros" it always makes me chuckle not gonna lie. I love me some later gorguts!! colored sands is a certified five. steely dan's aja is a complete masterpiece as well.. a no artificial brainer of a five. for as little dm as I listen to, we share a lot of the same dm fives which makes you and elite dm loving snob (that is correct) smoke em if you got em my man!!
20The Dillinger Escape Plan
Option Paralysis

calc: you didn't ask for this, but you did comment so that is good enough for me! for as much as I enjoy mathy spaz guitar writing I am guilty of never checking out dillinger escape plan. was told I would not regret it from a couple folks. animals as leaders almost made it to your fives, but we share the same rating I believe. just had to throw that in there. I had to go to the 4.5s cause I again don't recognize/haven't listened to any of your fives.. apologies! you have the wrong from indian lakes album at 4.5, but that's just me being a c*nt. thanks for stopping by to take a jab at emim, but now look where it got you!! peace
21Envy
A Dead Sinking Story

veninblazer: incoming slur......... just messing ^_~ .. lets dive in. I have been really meaning to give envy a FULL try through their discography. they seem like they have really promising stuff. jimmy eats world futures album is a goated pick to be a five. drugs or me is an incredibly powerful song. may just have to throw that on right now tbh... never got into linkin park, and people have tried to doxx me irl in passing just for that very reason!!! already talked about underoath's dtgl earlier above, but it is definitely welcomed to be mentioned again. I really never enjoyed bmth besides a couple songs here and there I've heard in the past. crazy how big they have gotten though. all in all? I didn't mind checking in on your fives whatsoever. take it easy my friend
22Coldplay
A Rush of Blood to the Head

tundra: oooooo we're gonna end tonights episode on this beloved user!! real talk for a second though? psa: stop going after this person ya damned dorks. anyway... we know ya love djent, and prog. lets get that part out of the way. I dislike a lot of what I see, but music is subjective as we all know. we conveniently leave that out sometimes don't we? we agree on a very important five to me though. coldplay's a rush of blood to the head features beautiful piano work, and lovely layers. kind of was ahead of its time imo. you have the wrong contortionist album fived, but we'll continue to carry on. the sleep token album you lose me on, but I get its just one way or the other with that release. love or hate... there seems to be no in between. one last thing I want to say is I love julien baker, and she's and incredibly good singer. I had a phase of watching her perform on youtube, and I have the upmost respect. have a good evening (well at least that's what it is here) so roll with it
