What kind of iPod do you have? I have a Touch, but it doesn’t seem to sync with my iTunes anymore. My iTunes just freezes whenever I try to sync it. Do I need to update my iTunes or are they trying to phase iPods out at this point?
Tasty list btw. Here’s a few more for ya, good road trip stuff:
Francisco Lopez - DSB
Philip Samartzis and Eric La Casa - Captured Space
Jeph Jerman and Ted Byrnes - Passenger
Graham Lambkin and James Rushford - Gondolas
The Humble Bee - Lichen Cloak on a White Stone |

I doubt they are, could be your itunes build has a installation glitch, i’d advise to update, it’s an old device but i doubt apple would phase out syncing |

06.03.24 | famously in the series all Mr C. would listen to was the evil bladee bootleg. the ruse was up when he turned down an offer to listen to "Unreal". brings tears to my eyes, the power of watching it live with the drain gang soundtrack |

06.05.24 | i know it's probably too on the nose but my nose is aquiline so: gotta have Floating Into the Night and the soundtrack! the former features the background music to the most moving scene in the whole series possibly (you know the one)
Philip recommends tbe following:
The Flamingos - Flamingo Serenade
smokedope2016 - XTC
Chief Keef - Unreleased Lean
The Shadow Ring - Hold Onto I.D.
Hontadedori - Hontadedori (LP)
J. Arthur Keenes - Overcoat Weather (which you'll hate)
Commodores - Three Times a Lady
and of course Schnappi - Schnappi und seine Freunde (best album on list?)
otherwise you're pretty well armed, many a propos picks, love to see it. i'd kinda forgotten about 2, 13 and 29, to my detriment so thnx thnx ! |

06.06.24 | i did enjoy the return weekly in 2017, but recently watching all of it in just a couple of days i was surprised by how well it coheres as a work. staring at a screen in ~9-hour chunks gave me severe floaters in my right eye (an endorsement)
first 2 seasons are worth watching once, the classic sawmill opening sequence is powerful
1992 movie needs a post-return rewatch for sure |
OzeanKudaH
06.07.24 | Ashley Tisdale for sure for the symphonic frog nothing personnel haard posed |

06.07.24 | ahh yup nice, you found the pathos! it really does function as a film (even in excerpts; the first two episodes form a cohesive whole and I believe they were aired in Canne as a singular entity) and also as theatre, a radio broadcast, Kabuki etcetera. i used to call it my favourite film, though i'm marginally less insufferable now
i also reckon the first two seasons are worth a rewatch ofc ofc but don't know how recently you've tried. but i assure you time well spent ! |
