Sowing's Eras Tour
In an effort to compartmentalize my many years on Sputnik, I created a time capsule of sorts. 15 songs from each year I've been on the site - not necessarily an attempt at capturing objectively the most impressive musical moments from each year, but rather the ones that have continued to stick out and define that year, for me, as I remember it. Lots of personal favorites and songs that "take me back"...that make me feel like I'm once again immersed in that time. Call it a victory lap for somehow still being here some 17 years later, call it an eras tour, call it whatever you like. Feel free to copy the idea and turn it into a fad, might be neat to see everyone's Sputnik "eras". I decided to do this via a list instead of the blog for that exact purpose, because not everyone is staff and everyone can make a list. These playlists are subject to minor changes over time, especially 2024, which is not even halfway over yet. Apologies in advance for the clunkiness of having to copy/paste links, and I was also too lazy to type out the tracklists in the list descriptions to save you a click.
