05.09.24 | Unfortunately, he and I, while we talked music a lot he wasn't someone that jammed albums much as he did singles so that's why the honor albums aren't as many cuz he loved tons of music but hard to pinpoint what outside of these I knew he liked. He did tend to like a lot of what I liked as well but again, not sure how much. All I know is he loved his sports teams, playing his xbox games with friends, enjoying life and had an amazing smile that lit up the room. It's so tough already knowing he's gone. He passed yesterday in the afternoon. Love and miss him |

05.09.24 | Well it started with the docs saying they thought his chances were good, then it became we have to cut out his tongue or do aggressive chemo/radiation which he opted for. Again, prognosis looked nice then randomly they go he has 3-4 years left probably, then hospice and two weeks later he's passed on. They said unfortunately, because he was so young, there was nobody in his age group with the type of tongue cancer he had so it made it extra hard for them to be able to treat it properly. |

This pisses me off and I think thats BS if I'm just being honest. I'm sure they did everything they could but that just sounds like a cop out to me. My cousins docs/nurses were amazing and made him super comfortable but never once did they make any excuses after he passed. Idk man, cancer just pisses me off to no end. Not blaming his docs or anything like that but the family doesn't wanna hear shit like that. :[ |

He unfortunately had the cancer in his mouth for months but was too afraid to see docs etc. Not saying if he went earlier it was inevitable he would live but chances would be better. I imagine there's people who had his type of cancer but within that hospital is where the problem arose and with how aggressive it was, it was on borrowed time.
Anyway, I'm doing ok mainly cuz I've seen him a few times during hospice before he passed and we knew it was coming so in a way I already accepted but definitely still grieving/crying at times. The upcoming funeral is easily going to be the hardest part. |

Thankfully friends and family have been there for me big time during this moment and were there for him as well, well his friends, but generally it's been rough but they're helping during the process big time. Using any distractions I can for the time being to not only have that on my mind |
