Fr tho I love other introverts. I hate small talk, and I find that other people that consider themselves introverted typically do too. It’s nice not to be alone but still be able to shut down and really only say something if I find it interesting as opposed to trying to force some half assed ice breaking small talk

I don't think introversion is like superior or anything like that though. My partner is more extroverted, which I've found can be quite the good thing for me sometimes. She sometimes will take me out when she goes out with her friends and that gives me a chance to be more conversational and also prevents me from spending too much time alone. Anywhosits, I only put the thread up to begin with because it's the holidays, and I'm getting tired of being around people.

I don't think it's unreasonable to prefer simply stating that you're an introvert over, f.e, getting a formal assessment done by a psychiatrist and trying to explain to someone what an avoidant personality is and how it affects your social behavior. Most peeps are gonna understand right away what you mean by telling them you're either an introvert or an extrovert and I think that's great
