What if Kurdt had Lived?

Just wondering everyone's thoughts on this?
1Nirvana
Nevermind

According to BestSellingAlbums.org, Nevermind sold ~ 30MM albums. We all know that Kurdt wasn't happy with the exposure and degradation of the Seattle scene that this album produced. And especially how his fan base tuned into a legion of frat boys - those who he was adamantly against.
2Nirvana
In Utero

When In Utero dropped - it was no surprise that Kurdt tried to buck that trend. Funny though - although it sold less (nearly 8MM albums), In Utero was also a huge mainstream success. Not many of those frat boys jumping off the bandwagon yet...
3Nirvana
MTV Unplugged in New York

It didn't matter what Kurdt did - he had the Midas touch. This live album selling nearly 13MM copies - even outselling In Utero.
4Nirvana
Nirvana

At the end - it was apparent that Kurdt was getting grim. The track "You Know Your'e Wrong" was recorded just before Kurdt committed suicide in April 1994. This lyrics from this track firmly summarize his "pain" and intent to "...crawl away for good".
5Nirvana
Incesticide

BUT - what if the events of April 1994 didn't happen - Kurdt had lived - and Nirvana had continued on? What would have Nirvana's next album (or albums) sounded like? Would Nirvana have kept going? Ultimately, would Kurdt have broken the band up or let it fade away?
6Hole
Live Through This

...And would Hole have seen the same level of success for this album and its followup?
7Foo Fighters
Foo Fighters

...And would Foo Fighters have ever formed and had success? Would Dave Grohl have just remained a great drummer and a future footnote? Or would he ultimately have championed his own highly-successful band?
8Soundgarden
Down on the Upside

...And would Grunge have still imploded on itself? And instead of key grunge bands (e.g., AIC, Soundgarden) fracturing or going on hiatus (and ultimately reforming ~15 years later) - would grunge have championed on?
