WILA: A couple of tracks here will be added to the playlist, the rest was a bit blah
Rocket To Rimtown
The Longest Distance Between Two Points
WILA: Yeah. From the same city (Worcester, Massachusetts) as The Hotelier and Peregrine, this album has a similar feel and at times is right there in terms of quality.
|17||The great Awake|
Skate Punk/Pop Punk
WILA: Yeah, great album by the Aussie lads out of Sydney. Catchy Skate punk tunes.

WILA: Great female vocals, from members of The Bombs and The Methadones, good album i will check again.
|20||Planet On A Chain|
Straight Edge Hardcore Punk
WILA: Maybe, it isn't bad, just don't feel the vocals.
|21||My Hair is a Rat's Nest|
WILA: One Person Screamo very well done, maybe, the vocals are the worst part of this.
WILA: This would have been the shit in 2009, still good now, out of Santiago, Chile
|23||Pierce the Veil|
The Jaws of Life
A good week for hardcore.
I still have at least (1) album to check out this week
You gotta check GEZAN from last week first, then out of these you would probably like 16,17,18 or 19. Don't listen to 10!
hey man no need to hate on 10 so much lmao
I've never liked them Platy, only listened this time to see if they could change my mind. Nope.
@Sloth - Fair enough haha just given you a hard time. Brand New Eyes is a classic tho and nobody can change my mind.
I forgot to tell you about Gezan Sam. I did not think it was almost an instant 5 but it was a hell of a ride and I wish some of the ideas there would pop up in other music I enjoy
@Sloth - I'm sure you didn't like it lol but what were your thoughts on the new PTV?
Thought the new PTV was pretty boring. Vocals are atrocious and over produced (effects for no reason). Musically it's OK at times, and cringe at others. I've never really fucked with them, this ain't my thing.
That's fair. I've always thought the effects they put on Vic's vocals were a bit much, they've been doing that for years now. Part of me wonders if I'd still like them if I weren't nostalgiac for them - they were one of my favorite bands in high school.
Yeah I guess I'm the opposite, in high school I was listening to Dead Kennedys, Bad Religion and other 80s hardcore. So any poppy punk/metal that came out after 1997, I really hated. Probably why I like noisy, dirtier, grittier DIY albums higher, than these polished ones.
Haha you sound a lot like my older brother, that was his shit when he was that age. Meanwhile I was the moody emo kid that my parents were secretly ashamed of.
will probably end up checking 16 and 18
16, is about 30% excellent, 30% good and 40% ok. Band had got potential for sure.
18 on the other hand is all good to great, at times I love it, but it took a little while.
21 *chefs kiss. never not gonna love that late 2000s ethereal skramz sound
the fact that it's 1 person makes it exponentially cooler
Boss's daughter seem like a great bunch of dudes that you would want to hang out with and their music sounds exactly like that
