WatchItExplode 02.14.23	I forgot to tell you about Gezan Sam. I did not think it was almost an instant 5 but it was a hell of a ride and I wish some of the ideas there would pop up in other music I enjoy
JoyfulPlatypus 02.14.23	@Sloth - I'm sure you didn't like it lol but what were your thoughts on the new PTV?
SlothcoreSam 02.14.23	Thought the new PTV was pretty boring. Vocals are atrocious and over produced (effects for no reason). Musically it's OK at times, and cringe at others. I've never really fucked with them, this ain't my thing.
JoyfulPlatypus 02.14.23	That's fair. I've always thought the effects they put on Vic's vocals were a bit much, they've been doing that for years now. Part of me wonders if I'd still like them if I weren't nostalgiac for them - they were one of my favorite bands in high school.
SlothcoreSam 02.14.23	Yeah I guess I'm the opposite, in high school I was listening to Dead Kennedys, Bad Religion and other 80s hardcore. So any poppy punk/metal that came out after 1997, I really hated. Probably why I like noisy, dirtier, grittier DIY albums higher, than these polished ones.

SlothcoreSam 02.16.23	16, is about 30% excellent, 30% good and 40% ok. Band had got potential for sure. 18 on the other hand is all good to great, at times I love it, but it took a little while.
kevbogz 02.16.23	21 *chefs kiss. never not gonna love that late 2000s ethereal skramz sound the fact that it's 1 person makes it exponentially cooler
