Shuyin: Top 15 favourite Sega Saturn games

Shuyin 07.02.22	Tough call between Soviet Strike and AMOK, they're really good. Played them both in 2020, on hardest difficulty. SS was fairly easy but AMOK kicked my ass on the later stages, I did make it to the end boss and tried to finish it in style but I forgot it was a 2 stage fight, the mofo killed me in the second round and sent me back to the main menu hahaha what an asshole

foxblood 07.02.22	Dude, have you played Astal? omg it is fucking goooooorgeous 2d eye candy. Nights is great. you gotta play fucking mr. bones too. panzer dragoon, snatcher, fighters megamix, radiant silvergun are some classics. I love virtua cop so much. I haven't played several on your list tho. so many good japanese shmups on the system, too many to list.
foxblood 07.02.22	dude you got fighters megamix in there though, that is one of the greatest fighting games ever made, it should be more popular, I played the fuck out of that in the 90's, love me some Bahn.

Shuyin 07.02.22	Akira was my guy but I also loved playing with the Daytona car, it was ridiculous. there's a lot of stuff I didn't play, including Dragon Force, I ALWAYS wanted to play that game and never got it

GmemberKills 07.02.22	Wow nice to see some Saturn love. I actually picked up a Saturn about a year ago with a cartridge that will let me play burned games. I mainly got it for Panzer Dragoon Saga since I love classic ps1 era JRPGS so much and it was really worth the purchase alone. One of the most unique battle systems ever, and the art/sound design is simply masterful. Fighters Megamix, Die Hard Arcade, and Sega Rally (spent like a weekend tying to beat it lol) are a blast too though. So many arcade style gems on this system, and quite a few more titles i need to deep dive into as well
