Lots of small ponds in and around roadways in rural Iowa, so its pretty common to see turtles in the road. If I see one in the road, I always pull over and help them across. I was driving home from work a couple years ago and dodged a turtle. I pulled into a driveway and turned around to get it off the road, then some dildo in a lifted truck swerved into the opposite lane just to hit it. Literally spilt the turtle in two, and somehow didn't kill it. I ended up having to kill the poor thing so it wouldn't suffer.

It may be "natural" for them to be always outdoors, but it is not "natural" for them to be living in large dangerous cities. outdoor cats lifespans are 2-5 years on average, because they get absolutely fucking wrekt by cars, diseases, freezing, heatstroke, poison, dogs, dehydration, parasites, evil ass humans, etc etc. cities are not kind playgrounds for domesticated animals.

Sinternet 06.03.22	if you're raising cats from birth i agree its best to keep indoors and teach them to have supervision outdoors or be leash-trained of course the isssue is rescue cats are often outdoor cats or have spent time as strays so rarely adapt but why would the concept of indoor cats piss anyone else off?

I also lived in an apartment with an indoor cat and it was miserable. These are all personal experiences and biases though.

Keep your pets inside unless supervised. fogza 06.04.22	I don't really understand why going 8km an hour faster than the speed limit is important though? Like if you take that as a percentage of the speed limit it's going to have a marginal effect on how long it takes to get somewhere. Just drive the speed limit. And yeah I guess stay out the fast lane if you're going to drive under or at the speed limit, but honestly just drive the speed limit for fuck's sake. The roads are there for transport and there are all levels of drivers using them, not just you (and most people are worse drivers than they think).

Because, those that cruise many miles/hr over the limit are supposed to have good reflex and peripheric vision well develop to be able to manage the driver at or below the max but above the min ( the majority of the fast drivers group are bad drivers). Tragic car accidents are rarely caused by slow drivers, they are very often caused by excess speed. And, btw this is not an opinion this is a crushing reality science fact. cheers anyway.
