Mort. 04.20.22	i think of noisecore as stuff like today is the day or playing enemy, but really its a pretty nebulous term. looking it up you can get directed to a wikipedia page that lists oxbow, phantomsmasher and the gerogiererere (or whatevs theyre called) as examples of nosiecore artists lol. i remember reading an interview where someone was saying noisecore was just what people used to call stuff like botch and converge back in the day to differentiate it from the heavy but less abrasive stuff like integrity.

Also always great to find someone who appreciates the fall of troy and the DTBM I and II. Appreciate your contributions and recs.
Mort. 10.25.22	thanks very much man, glad to have introduced anyone to more of the deeper dives in the genre. im currently working my way through the metalcore of all time charts from here on sputnik, and doing my own rating/ranking of them, so you may want to check out those lists once theyre done in a few months time (or more likely theyll be deleted and ill post a new list with the new rankings and ratings. at the moment those lists are literally just a reproduction of the sput charts with my own ratings underneath each album)
