1Lou Reed and Metallica
Lulu

bgillesp
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1068507

Many understandable choices, combined with a few questionable ones. If you don't fuck with xSPONGECOREx, I don't know what to tell you ;] But yeah, lots of terrible music otherwise. Aaron Carter, Blood on the Dance Floor, Five Finger Death Punch... yeah, there's a pretty solid platter of shit here.

VERDICT: 4/5 (I'm not grading this any higher since it's the first entry; I'm sure things will get even more vile as the list goes on)

(Edit: So apparently he does, in fact, fuck with the first xSPONGCOREx album. The rating still stands, but just wanted to clear that up :])
2Coldplay
Music of the Spheres

Pangea
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1052758

Nice and succinct... just three ratings, and kudos for picking the worst Coldplay album. Still, I'd personally put Lulu below St. Anger as far as Metallica rankings go... I AM THE TABLE (yeah I know, dead meme).

VERDICT: 3/5. There are certainly more albums I'd suggest adding to the list (and my opinion on xSPONGECOREx was already established in the first entry) but the Coldplay rating boosts the rating quite a bit.
3Guns N' Roses
Appetite for Destruction

Gyromania
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=420199

So this one's a lot more conflicting. On one hand, I have to give you credit for giving a 1 to stuff like Appetite for Destruction (horrendously overrated album) and Tones and I's debut (probably the worst pop album in a decade). But come on, Smile from the Streets You Hold? That's the masterpiece of John Frusciante's solo career. And though Fear Inoculum is the worst Tool album, I don't think it's a 1 by any means.

Verdict: 2.5/5. Maybe I'll bring up the score at some point, but this one's a bit mixed for me. The Guns N' Roses hate anchors the list to a degree though
4ABBA
ABBA Gold

Demon of the Fall
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1097747

Ooooh, I'm already not vibing with the ABBA hate. Also, of all Bon Jovi albums you could have chosen, you didn't pick one of their newer albums? They became a boring-ass MOR band by then, but at least Crush had It's My Life. With that said, there's still some shitty music here: Origins is probably the worst Imagine Dragons album (and that's saying something), and I'm glad I'm not the only one who despises Jet.

VERDICT: 3/5
5A Day To Remember
You're Welcome

Dedex
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=711403

Oh yeah, this is a fucking 1/5 list. The worst A Day to Remember album, Speedin' Bullet, Greta Van Fleet, Lil Xan, Logic's Supermarket... this is all incredibly vomit-inducing. Maybe the Nicki Minaj rating is a bit dated now (I'd rate a lot of music below that album at this point), but otherwise this list is wonderfully terrible.

VERDICT: 4.5/5
6DJ Himmler
Das Ewige Reich

kkarron
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1139370

Kkarron's one and only 1 rating. Hitlercore? Nazicore? Either way, quite shite... which is valuable for a list like this.

VERDICT: 5/5. Fuck Hitler.
7Tool
Lateralus

Johnnyofthewell
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=538903

Don't get me wrong, I agree with most of this list. But, uh... yeah, I can't vibe with that Lateralus rating. Still it's nice to see you give a 1 to the absolute worst In Flames album, as well as some Hinder and 1975 trash. Well done :]

VERDICT: 3.5/5
8Ed Sheeran
+

Fogza
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=662315

Ok, so the Ed Sheeran hate is REAL with these ratings. In any case, I'm a bit mixed on this one; I agree with the 100 Gecs and brokeNCYDE ratings wholeheartedly, but I disagree with so much as well. Unquestionable Truth? Iowa? Liz Phair's s/t? Damn. Sorry man, but this is probably the most contentious one I've dealt with so far.

VERDICT: 2/5

JesperL
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1072663

Oh god... cringe! Cringe cringe cringe! Cringe on top of cringe!

As I've stated before, that makes for a better list than a boring one. 5 Seconds of Summer, Attila, Blood on the Dance Floor, Five Finger Death Punch, Meghan Trainor... whew, that's a nice list of terrible music. Add MGK's latest disaster, and this is a strong candidate for the worst 1 list so far :]

VERDICT: 4.5/5
10Fall Out Boy
M A N I A

Sowing
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=276983

Jesus fuck, this one is hard to get through. While there are a few I disagree with (I think Animal by Kesha is ok), the majority of this list is painful. Mania, Jordi, Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz, Bulletproof Picasso... yikes. By this point, Train just needs to be excommunicated from the world of pop/rock music altogether.

VERDICT: 4.5/5
11Pope Francis
Wake Up!

Ryus
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1037980

Lots of stuff I disagree with here. Kudos for Greta Van Fleet and Yngwie Malmsteen (one of the most annoying and wanky guitarists ever), but I definitely can't get behind the inclusion of my favorite Steven Wilson and Devin Townsend albums (Hand Cannot Erase and Ghost, respectively). Plus, I can't hate on the Pope Francis album; the fact that it's the first progressive rock album released by a pope has to count for something.

VERDICT: 2/5
12Between the Buried and Me
Colors

Havey
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=720938

Certainly some disagreements here (I think most people know my opinion on Colors at this point), but some agreeable stuff as well. Rebirth is still Lil Wayne's most embarrassing album, and those Weezer albums are pretty terrible as well. Decent batch of 1s overall, and a surprisingly short one from a user with over 8,600 ratings.

VERDICT: 3/5
13Sleepytime Gorilla Museum
Of Natural History

Dedes
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1063911

See, this one was so close to being the best list so far, until I got to the last rating... Of Natural History? Come on, that album kicks ass! But yeah, otherwise a great list. I think I'm the only one on Sput who disliked Kingdoms Disdained more than Illud Divinum Insanus, but I don't mind the latter being on here. With some Emmure, brokeNCYDE, and glam-era Celtic Frost also thrown into the mix, this is an excellent batch of 1s.

VERDICT: 4/5
14Metallica
St. Anger

ReturnToRock
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=135125

I like how he has more reviews than ratings, lol. Anyway, this is a solid, if mildly predictable, list. Metal Magic, All or Nothing, and the Gene Simmons album that literally spells out what kind of person he is... yeah, pretty solid. Much like his reviews and namesake, a lot of his 1s are well within his classic rock wheelhouse.

VERDICT: 3.5/5

Anat
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1067819

Fine list, though I don't think Solar Power was quite THAT bad (bland, yes, but still...). Nice to see 1975 on the list, as well as arguably the two worst Coldplay albums; still, the Kero Kero Bonito choice is probably the one I disagree with the most here. Overall, I'm feeling a...

Z00sh
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1287953

Oh man, this is a good list. Lots and lots to hate here: Revival, Kamikaze, Father of All Motherfuckers, V, Jordi, Total Xanarchy, Blurryface... yeah, there's a nice variety of terrible music here. I can't say I agree with everything (I still enjoy the Haken and Megadeth albums), but this is really solid. Well done.

VERDICT: 4/5

1000 gecs

ArsMoriendi
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1034848

So this one's a bit interesting... very short and succinct, with a nice combination of low-hanging fruit and contentious picks. I'm just glad that someone else dislikes 100 Gecs as much as I do, and I can't say I disagree with the John Lennon picks either. Yeah, I like this one overall. Short, sweet, and cuts through the bullshit.

VERDICT: 3.5/5

Tempest

Drifter
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1078406

Well shit, this one's extremely easy. One album I'm incredibly fond of (Tempest), one album I absolutely hate (Father of All Motherfuckers), and one that I'm admittedly indifferent to (Some Rap Songs). Soooo, I guess that puts it at a:

SlothcoreSam
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1137253

I mean, what is there to say? This a gigantic clusterfuck of albums that I hate and love, and I'm not even sure if I want to comb through the entire list to single out anything. So I'm gonna go with the lazy choice and say:

20AJR
Neotheater

YoYoMancuso
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=707535

Yeah, this is a nice list. Gotta love the string of AJR 1s, as well as other trash like Waking the Cadaver and the stupid collector's edition of DAMN. I do think the Justin Bieber and Attack Attack inclusions come off as dated low-hanging fruit, but I also can't deny that they're quite subpar.

VERDICT: 3.5/5
21Disturbed
Immortalized

Sinternet
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1054524

Another mix of agreements and disagreements (if we're talking Avenged Sevenfold 1s, I definitely would've gone with the s/t before those two). But I do agree with the majority of what you put on here. The Dream Theater, Suicide Silence, and Muse albums are quite easy their worst, and I'm certainly not going to object to some requisite Meghan Trainor and Blood on the Dance Floor inclusions.

VERDICT: 3.5/5
22Twenty One Pilots
Blurryface

deathschool
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=922961

Short, sweet, and filled with entries I can get behind. A lot of familiar records here, but that doesn't mean I disagree: Blurryface and Ratitude are repeat offenders for a reason, and seeing the worst Black Flag album and some Buckcherry is icing on the cake. Nicely done.

VERDICT: 4/5
23Corey Feldman
Angelic 2 The Core

Storm in a Teacup
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=190767

Of all BTBAM albums you could 1, you choose Parallax II? Hmmm. Anyway, I wasn't expecting so much BTS hate... but I've never understood their hype either, so I'm not bothered by that. Lots of good choices on the list though, and I have to give a shoutout for the Corey Feldman entry; Angelic 2 the Core is still one of my favorite bad albums of all time.

VERDICT: 3.5/5
24Red Hot Chili Peppers
I'm With You

Porcupinetheater
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=450335

Can't say I was expecting a lot of these entries, and sadly I don't necessarily mean that in a good way. The Bon Jovi album is goofy fun, Joanne is one of my favorite Lady Gaga albums, and Load - while not great - isn't as bad as Metallica would eventually become. Still, props for including by far the worst Red Hot Chili Peppers album and Miley Cyrus' biggest disaster.

VERDICT: 2.5/5
25Sam Hunt
Southside

Someone
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1211569

Nice and succinct. I'll give you props for including the artist Todd in the Shadows described as "walking testicle Sam Hunt", and the Alice Cooper record is indeed one of his worst.

VERDICT: 3.5/5
26Five Finger Death Punch
And Justice for None

0xME
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1119165

Lots of low-hanging fruit, but at least I agree with a lot of it. And Justice for None is an absolute travesty of a metal record (peep my 0.5 review for more on that), and I certainly can't argue against all the BotDF, brokeNCYDE, In Flames, and Six Feet Under garbage on display. We don't see eye-to-eye on everything (Pablo Honey???), but this is solid.

VERDICT: 4/5
27Korn
The Path of Totality

Zaruyache:
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=420593

A lot of what I said in the previous entry applies here as well (especially all the BotDF and brokeNCYDE stuff), although I can't say this one hits the mark quite as often. Even as someone who's not a staunch defender of later Korn, seeing garbage like The Path of Totality next to The Nothing seems a bit weird to me. Also, I'm not sure how The Sin and the Sentence is the worst Trivium album when stuff like Silence in the Snow exists.

VERDICT: 3/5

Lukas Graham (Blue Album)

Kompys2000
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1068436

This might actually be the best one so far, as I really have no outright objections. The closest thing to a disagreement I have is probably Make Believe (not a good album per se, but at least it's not as shitty as Ratitude). Everything else though, from AJR to Meghan Trainor to Nostalgia Critic to Sam Hunt to Attila to easily the worst Theory of a Deadman album... good stuff.

VERDICT: 5/5

Silence in the Snow

Kusangii
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1027526

Heh, not really sure what to make of this one. Lots of repeat offenders from the previous entries, although I don't think any of them delivered this much Asking Alexandria vitriol (not that I'm a big fan of them either). Anyway, this list still has a lot of good picks. Kudos for including the two worst Trivium albums, as well as the utterly hideous Clayman re-recording.

VERDICT: 3.5/5

Perverse Recollections of a Necromangler

SAPoodle
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=426841

Unfortunately I haven't listened to much Xasthur, so I can't offer a proper response to your comment. But as for the other stuff? Yeah, good work. The Waking the Cadaver inclusion is always welcome, and I never understood the Chelsea Grin hype so I'm ok with that being here. Not sure what else I can say about brokeNCYDE that I haven't said previously, but this is a nice and succinct shitlist.

VERDICT: 3.5/5
31Black Sabbath
Forbidden

Sharktooth
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1030884

Damn, a lot of throwbacks on this one. I feel like I was transported back to the mid-2000s with entries like Crazy Frog, Fergie, and early David Guetta cringe. But the list certainly isn't relegated to that era, with other stinkers like Forbidden, a few trash Maroon 5 albums, and James LaBrie's dire attempt to sing Metallica. For such a long list, I have a surprising lack of objections, so:

VERDICT: 4/5
32The Beach Boys

DavidYowi
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1195191

Immediate props for including the ultimate dumpster fire of The Beach Boys discog (fuck you Mike Love), and the rest of the list follows suit nicely. We've got the worst Green Day album, the worst ADTR album, the worst Maroon 5 album (which is saying a lot), and Robin Thicke's confusing mess of a divorce album. Probably the best 1/5s since Kompys' list.

VERDICT: 4.5/5
33Gorillaz

MiloRuggles
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1154035

Well friends, it seems we've reached a dilemma: Milo has no 1s. So that means I'll be reviewing the 1.5s instead! And there's really not much to say here... two albums, both disappointing releases by their respective artists. Today is the Day is a particularly unfortunate case, as the album is so far from the quality they used to exhibit. Anyway, I think I've bent my own rules long enough.

VERDICT: 3/5
34Lamb of God
Ashes of the Wake

Minortimbo12
https://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?memberid=1292341

Quite the hate-boner for Lamb of God, huh? I mean, I'm not the hugest fan of them either, but I certainly wouldn't 1 their entire discog. Aside from that, this one's kind of a mixed bag. On one hand, the Tones and I and X Ambassadors choices are completely understandable, as they totally suck ass. On the other hand, I really don't have any problem with the Olivia Ridrigo and Billie Eilish albums. Idk
