Dropped a Mathcore/Metalcore EP yesterday.
Hey there, I'm the drummer for The Fahrenheit Drill and we just released Install Me Into The Cloud.
I definitely have a much more profound respect for professional musicians who put out high quality recordings. This thing ain't perfect by any means, but it felt like a stupid amount of work to get it to where it is. Trying to make sure an album is "good" means obsessing about the creative aspects of every inch of it and compromising with the spaces you don't have the money or sanity to deal with anymore. Maybe that's on me since I seem to care a lot about whether or not something is "good." I'm pretty happy with it, though! Ask me about the process if you want. One of the most stressful things I've been through. I tracked drums without a metronome or a scratch track. Just myself because I was so nervous and distracted hearing anything other than focusing on my composition. In the end though, it sounds exactly like we want. Pissed off and live as hell.
Anyway, not here for a hugbox. Jam my new music and let me know what you think. If you like mathcore, old whitebelt, or grimey/noisy/whippy metalcore I think you'll dig it. List is influences on the record.

This very good, great job!
I commend you highly for doing this without click tracks. Riffs, vocals(the cleans are very glassjaw like, sweet) songwriting, and drums are very nice. Listened to the whole thing, super solid ep. I hope it was worth the stress, recording is headache until it’s finished.
Thank you wack! Super appreciate the feedback. It was absolutely worth it. The entire time I was just worried about whether or not the performances would translate since I recorded it in such a bizarre way. There's very minimal stitching going on which adds to the live feel (maybe like 2-3 takes each song)
You make music too I'd assume?
Bumping this because your music deserves more attention on here. I dig the live feel of it.
True homie shit. Music tastes pretty much grew up on Sputnik so even if one person digs it, thats dope!
