Boards of Canada EPs Ranked

BoC not to be confused with Bok Bok
4Boards of Canada
Trans Canada Highway

2006

This one has grown on me a lot. A little jumbled/thin compared to their more successful EPs, but still lots of amazing material. Left Side Drive is one of their absolute best B-sides, and everything else is great too

Hi Scores

1996

Every single track on this is incredible. Their most consistent EP and one that is still firmly rooted in their hip-hop and electro influences
2Boards of Canada
Twoism

1995

"That tiny room at the beach was absolutely the perfect place for my first time..."

Contains a few tracks on other BoC LPs (mainly MHTRTC), but doesn't feel like half an EP as a result. This is very close to being my number 1
1Boards of Canada
In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country

2000

This could get first place simply for the track Amo Bishop Roden. The other tracks rule too even if Zoetrope can be a bit long for some listeners. I still vividly remember the moment I first heard that tape deck click sample on the beat for Kid For Today. In many ways this is the most refined EP the duo have ever put out
