Looking for an album...

This is an album I haven't heard or thought of in maybe 2 years. The cover is red, white, and black. If I had to compare it to another album cover, it reminds me a bit of the one for 30 Seconds to Mars' A Beautiful Lie. Genre-wise, it is alternative rock and made by a former metal band (NOT Anathema like I originally thought). Pretty sure the band's former metal style was black metal. I remember mentioning to a friend that the album sounded like Placebo if they were really into Satan. Iirc the band was not American; I almost want to say they were Norwegian, but I could be wrong.
