Nu metal did indeed have quite a bit of great stuff, despite the bad stuff. In fact, I'll take nearly all of the great stuff (SOAD, Deftones, first Korn album) over the "real metal" characters I regularly impugn -- Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Dio, Death, etc. -- now and forever. |
