Masochist 04.13.21	"6 is one of the best pop songs ever" It really is, though. I'm very happy that this genre became popular online last decade. It's nostalgic for me because a lot of older, early anime used the City Pop sound for their intro/outro songs, and just like with American funk and motown, it just sounds like a good time. Also, my mother was stationed in Japan in the mid 80's, at the time this genre was popular. While she can't remember specific songs, the sound is very nostalgic to her too, and it's an oddly specific way to be able to connect with her, lol
