DoofDoof 04.12.21	Gyro, if you loved G n' R at the time (most people did) then to not put a song by them in this list would be the height of poseur revisionism so I had to - the soundtrack to two years at school at the very least I've sort of come to peace with G n' R now, they have their place for me even if I don't rate any of their albums above a 3.5 Similar situation with the MJ pick, it had to be there because of my childhood, whatever I or anyone thinks of him now. I covered both in my 'Band of the Week' list on RYM so I really know where I stand with them having listened to their complete discogs recently
DoofDoof 04.12.21	Johnny I've not listened to much Sisters of Mercy recently - I only played 'Flood I' last night to see if I still dig and whether it could make a late charge for the top 10, might have to revisit their (small) discog soon You could well be right, that whole album is pretty good, guess a lot of people would choose 'This Corrosion' but I'm never totally sold it deserves 11 minutes of tape

Back in the late eighties with Bad, Moonwalker and all that it was absolutely amazing. A true ‘superstar’ Good times to be an 8yr old, unless you took a trip to Neverland. REM - The One I Love
