Red Blood, White Frost
not exactly RABM. Actually its concept reminds me of Horn's "Feldpost" but in this case the album is focused on the WW2. These stormy, noisy, passionate covers of two Soviet songs are epic (even despite their infinite length). The rest is nice war metal, not majestic enough to create a soundscape of the great war but acceptable. The horrible accent in spoken parts is kinda annoying. |
