05.26.20 | converge, coalesce, botch, cave in - until your heart stops, turmoil, Knut - challenger, prayer for cleansing (members of btbam pre-btbam), every time I die, uhhhh all that stuff is pretty techy and full of cool parts. If you like Dillinger none of it should be too chaotic for you. |
JustJoe.

05.26.20 | All That Remains - The Fall of Ideals
It was the album that got me interested in metalcore. It’s a different style of metalcore from those, though, so perhaps not what you’re looking for. |

05.26.20 | Do you suggest to go chronologically or band by band? |
Relinquished

Gallantin
05.26.20 | Earthmover is the only *slightly* obscure one in my recs, and even then it's like...if I were to compare its obscurity to death metal terms, it's like...Morgoth whereas the others I rec'd are Death, Possessed, Morbid Angel, etc. |
Relinquished

05.26.20 | how else are we gonna keep a band from 20 years ago with a total of 10 ratings from being labeled "OBSCURE"
that's like a cybercrime |
Gallantin
05.26.20 | This is the day I learnt that Earthmover has less than 10 ratings and now I feel bad. They were one of the first bands I found when I started getting into metalcore lol |

05.27.20 | my Metalcore recs.
"Sepiturnal" and "There is a Hell, believe Me I've seen It...There is a heaven Let's Keep a secret" Bring Me The Horizon
"Lost in the Sound of Seperation" Underoath
"THE ACT", "Space (EP)", "Zombie (EP)" The Devil Wears Prada
"DOGMA" and "NINTH" The GazettE (only been metalcore since 2015, also the Singles "UGLY" and "UNDYING" are worth hearing too)
"Waking the Fallen" Avenged Sevenfold (yeah, they started as a metalcore band)
"Kirari" Dazzle Vision (Whole band's discog. is a big recommend, but this is at least one of my top 3 favorite albums of all time, it also is the softest one of my recs and is not 100% pure metalcore, as a handful of songs here like the title track take influence from alternative. "To the Next" might be heavier in terms of metalcore) |
