Trying to get into Metalcore. Need your help

So, I've been a long time Rock/Metal fan, but for some reason I've always avoided this genre thinking it was too much chaotic and techical-less. The only metalcore album I knew was BTBAM. Today I gave a try to Calculating Infinity and every prejudice suddenly was blown away. I think I missed a great part of music, and I also know Metalcore was big in the 2000s up to 2010s, but now it's receding away, so this might be the worst moment to get into it. But anyway, give me reccomendations on what I should listen first and if there's a path to follow or some pillars of the genre. Thank you very much
