SlothcoreSam 11.02.19	Oi, So where is The Prayer Position, it's probably the song that preludes to the whole Sing The Sorrow album. And... Where the FUCK is A Single Second. Not only is it my favorite AFI song, but one of my fav songs of all time. "Once felt so warm, now I'm fucking freezing....." I FEEL SO, I FEEL SO LOOOOOOOOOOOST. Also, need Third Season, I Wanna get a Mohawk, He Who Laughs Last, and off Sing The Sorrow the secret track This Time Imperfect. "The are no flowers, no not this time. ..." Anyways, awesome list, makes me wanna listen to AFI all night long.
artiswar 11.02.19	Yeahhhhh, make your list Sloth! I considered Third Season for sure, but I sort of had to cut all picks from the first 3 albums to prevent myself from going insane. Also had to cut all the b-sides, that was tough. Leaving out Prayer Position was a huge mistake on my part though, I would probably cut Greater Than 84 for it.

Larkinhill 11.02.19	Miss Murder was one of them haha (which I really liked actually!). Don’t remember what the other track was. I heard it when it was released as a single when these guys were blowing up, probably sing the sorrow era or thereabouts. I hated the song. But I was a teenager who thought they were sissies for wearing eyeliner. I’m not as judgemental now as an adult.

Larkinhill 11.02.19	@art — I’ve added them to the list, but it’s an extensive list. Finishing up Mineral’s two albums, then going through discogs of Sunny Day Real Estate, Joy Division, The Cure, The Deer Hunter and Dillinger Escape Plan. Gonna fit AFI in there somewhere.

SlothcoreSam 11.02.19	Imagine if AFI did a whole album in the style of Death of Seasons, with heaps of electronic beats, samples and effects. I felt like that was the shape of punk to come, but no one really did it. Enter Shikari almost went there, and there are some other bands that got close but no major labels picked up on it, and produced it to the next level. That's fucking gold untapped. Let's start a scramz/edm band and do it all pop like, make a fortune and start a new scene.
artiswar 11.02.19	I think they ultimately decided that stuff didn't belong in AFI for the most part so they did Blaqk Audio. I'm actually pretty happy with where they are now, their latest EP was GREAT.
SlothcoreSam 11.02.19	It sprung to my attention when it first came out, but that's before i had streaming services. I remember youtubing some tracks, but could never find the full album, so i forgot all about it. Better jump on it again. Just added it to a playlist on Spotify
