Kaiwaz: Speakers are everything

NOTINTHEFACE 07.13.19	I invested in some entry-level audiophile headphones last year, and the album that I noticed the biggest improvement in sound was R Plus Seven by Oneohtrix Point Never, followed by Mezzanine by MA. I think electronic lends itself to really dense soundscapes with layers that are easily drowned out by bad playback equipment.

StrikeOfTheBeast 07.13.19	Under $150, Logitech speakers are pretty good. Mids are decent on the z623's, and the clarity is phenomenal.
GhettoHmbrglr 07.13.19	make sure to get the original release/master of almost any cd made before 1990. they put a lot more effort into it back then and music was less compressed, designed to sound best on nice speakers as opposed to airpods or whatever. 2.1 or 2.0? adding a subwoofer really takes it to the next level for a lot of music
GhandhiLion 07.13.19	Headphones are just way more immersive for me. I don't notice a lot of details in dense music without headphones.

TheNotrap 07.13.19	My car has a decent sound system. That's how I know if an album has good production or not, because everything (or almost everything) sounds good on headphones.
