5 Albums That I Think Are Underrated

This is a list of albums that I like that got bad reviews. This list isn't going to be in any particular order.
1Black Sabbath

At the time that I'm writing this list, Forbidden is the only Black Sabbath album that I've listened to in its entirety. Honestly, I like it. The songs are really good in my opinion, especially The Illusion of Power. I understand why people don't like this album, but I respectfully disagree. A lot of people criticize the production, but I don't mind it. It's listenable, there's not that much distortion, and the instruments and vocals don't overpower each other very often. The album cover is also one of my favorites of all time.
2All That Remains
The Order of Things

I used to absolutely hate The Order of Things. I thought it was boring, unheavy, uninspired, unoriginal, and longer than it needed to be. After re-listening to it a couple of times, it's grown on me significantly. Sure, it's not heavy, and is definitely one of All That Remains' weakest albums, but I don't think that it's bad. Divide, No Knock, Tru-Kvlt-Metal, For You, Victory Lap, Pernicious, Criticism and Self Realization (even though it has one of the worst song titles I've ever heard), Bite My Tongue, and This Probably Won't End Well are great songs. I like every song on the album, but I do understand why a lot of people can't stand this album. The album cover is alright, but it's nothing special.
Metal Magic

Before I talk about this one, I have to say one thing: that album cover is fucking beautiful.

Metal Magic is a very fun album. If it had better production, it would be one of my favorite albums of all time. Despite the mediocre production, the album is pretty good. Yes, Pantera weren't at their best at this point, they were just teenagers. The band members clearly had talent, and all did a good job on the album, especially Darrel. The songs on the album are pretty good, and would be amazing if the album had better production. I would love if someone did a remaster of Metal Magic. That would be magical.
The Crusade

I could have easily put Silence in the Snow, Vengeance Falls, or Ember to Inferno in this spot, but I think that The Crusade deserves this spot. I understand that this album is a drastic departure from Trivium's metalcore sound to a Metallica-esque thrash metal sound, but I think that Trivium pulled it off very well. Some songs (To the Rats, Entrance of the Conflagration, The Crusade) wouldn't sound out of place on a Metallica album. But Trivium were influenced by Metallica, so I don't blame them for trying to sound similar. My favorite Trivium song is on this album, and is by far their most underrated song, and that is The Rising. I love that song. There isn't a song on The Crusade that I don't like. I just love thrash metal. The album cover is also pretty cool, but is not Trivium's coolest.
St. Anger

Ah, St. Anger. Probably the most underrated album of all time. Metallica fans and music critics alike have torn this album apart. I understand why people hate it and, if I had to wait the six years between ReLoad and St. Anger, I would probably hate it too. But, since Metallica were going through a lot of turmoil at this time, I understand why they couldn't be at their best. The Unnamed Feeling and St. Anger are two of my favorite Metallica songs. I enjoy every song on the album. Honestly, if the production was better, the songs weren't overly long, and if Kirk had played some guitar solos, the album would be a masterpiece in my opinion. The album cover is one of my favorites from Metallica. I would love if Metallica played the songs live again.

You didn't think that I would forget to mention the snare, did you? I think it has a nice ring to it.
