Joyce Manor Ranked - Worst to Best
Ranking albums by Cali power pop band Joyce Manor. (It's all gas)
Of All Things I Will Soon Grow Tired
Not as catchy or sweet as the rest of their discography. The whole thing feels sloppy and rushed. Really no solid hits on this thing, the band knows that too as its the album they draw from the least for live shows.
Million Dollars To Kill Me
Not nearly as bland or boring as their fans have made it out to be. "Think I'm Still In Love With You" was the best song of 2018. The band writes some different vibes, solid effort.
Catchy and Cathartic. The album that made them who they are, hits galore. This shit will make you stage dive. The album that made me say "These guys are the next Goo Goo Dolls".
Unpopular opinion maybe, but this album is polished and hooky as hell, you can catch a bass with it. Arguably their most "well-written" songs. I don't think this album gets enough credit.
Never Hungover Again
19 minutes of pure power pop bliss. CLASSIC ALERT
video killed the radio star
If 2 didn't have Big Lie it would be the lowest for sure
1 is SEVERELY underrated. The rawness is something the band doesn’t have anymore, it’s super energetic and alive feeling. The newer albums feel like the band members are bored playing.
3, 5, 1, 4, 2.
"1 is SEVERELY underrated."
agreed but still think it's their worst. the performances and overall sound are great but dont think the songwriting is quite on par esp. because its length makes it feel so skimpy. compared to the fully fleshed out songs on the other albums, the whole tony molina super short power pop thing just doesnt stack up. but there's still plenty great moments on of all things.
3, 1 & 5 are good
you do know there’s a reverse order option for lists righ
