Help needed

So I remember finding a solo album on YouTube last year from a bassist. It wasn't jazz or funk per se, I remember it had really intricate playing and smooth melodies. It had a gray cover, I think a picture showing a road with leaves, or something like that. It must have been released after 2014, and the artist is a young man (below 50s), not extremely famous, but well-known and respected. Does anyone have any idea of what the album/artist is?
