RippingCorpse1986 02.18.18	Anthrax is more or less universally agreed to be that one that's a bit below the rest regarding the American big four (just like Tankard with the Teutonic big four), but I personally disagree. I'd consider myself more of a Tankard defender tho, but Anthrax's Spreading the Disease kills hard.
Koris 02.18.18	Slayer's basically a shitty and less extreme version of Kreator. If Kreator were an American band, I bet they'd replace Slayer for the Big 4 in a heartbeat. But they never achieved the level of fame and influence they deserved

Sure, there's a similar basic idea behind all of their albums since DEI, but if you compare DEI to Nothing, or Chaosphere to Catch-33, there is a LOT of variety in Meshuggah's discography. Not to mention Contradictions Collapse and None which are completely different from each other and from all the rest of their albums.
