Top 10 Favorite Bands/Artists (Feb 12th, 2018)
1Linkin Park
A Thousand Suns

It's well known that I love Linkin Park. I've been living their music for 15 years and while I wasn't huge on One More Light initially, it has grown on me. Chester was my hero. Just one of the kindest, most pure-hearted people I've ever seen. His voice was just phenomenal and songs like Waiting For The End, One More Light, and My December still get to me, in which you can hear the pain in the poor man's voice, coming out through his songs. Linkin Park means the world to me and I couldn't ever thank them enough for the countless hours of enjoyment I've gotten from their music.
2Of Mice and Men
The Flood

Even though Austin Carlile isn't a part of the band anymore, they're still going strong. It's gonna take a lot to beat Defy for my album of 2018, and that's not even my favorite album. Though Cold World isn't a masterpiece, I still enjoy every song, some more than others but I can listen to them all. Austin's screams are my favorite in metal today, Shayley Bourget, although only on their self-titled, and The Flood, has an amazing voice, and Aaron Pauley, joining the band for Restoring Force, Cold World, and replacing Carlile as lead vocalist for Defy, has proven he's a force to be reckoned with. Overall there's nothing these guys have done yet that I don't at least like.
3Hollywood Undead
Five

Hollywood Undead isn't one of those bands you enjoy for the lyrics, but their voices and their amazing melodies they're able to craft with nearly every song. To me, they make music that I can just sit back and seriously enjoy the hell out of. While Swan Songs is my least favorite by them, there's still plenty to enjoy on that album, like, Young, Sell Your Soul, This Love, This Hate, and Undead. American Tragedy released after the departure of Deuce, who thankfully hasn't returned, and man did they return after 3 years with a bang. There's so much on American Tragedy, and even Notes From The Underground that I just love. Day Of The Dead isn't their best work, but a lot of the songs are some of my favorites, like, Gravity, Take Me Home, Usual Suspects, Ghost, and Day Of The Dead. Five, my new favorite by them, blew my mind when it released. It's my album of 2017 and with songs like Broken Record, California Dreaming, and We Own The Night, it's hard for me not to love this album
4Tool
Lateralus

Tool, one of the greatest bands to ever release music. Picking a favorite by them is like picking a favorite kid. Their music is so well crafted and so expertly mixed, it's an experience every time you hear a song. While I'm a recent Tool fan, I can strongly say Maynard and the rest of the guys, are just incredible musicians, and seeing them live last year was an amazing experience that I could recommend to anyone. Now then, let's keep hoping for album #5 at some point in our lifetime
5Jeff Williams
RWBY Volume 3 Soundtrack & Score

Jeff and Casey Williams make the soundtrack for my favorite show, RWBY, and man do they knock the music out of the park EVERY time. It blows my mind that these two can create these amazing songs every year without break. Casey's voice is just amazing for how young she is, and just like Tool, it was damn hard to choose a favorite album. Jeff's plethora of talents could fill an entire chalk board and then some. He constantly blows me away with incredible instrumentals, all crafted by him alone. Can't wait for the Volume 5 soundtrack
6Red Hot Chili Peppers
Stadium Arcadium

I grew up listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The entire band is so unbelievably talented and man are they a live presence or what. To this day the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert i went to last year is my favorite concert I've been to. It's gonna take a lot to top it too. With almost their entire discography filled with hits and songs that you can't help but listen to a million times, it's hard not to love these guys
7Memphis May Fire
This Light I Hold

Matty Mullins has one of my favorite voices ever, He can scream like a mother fucker, and his singing voice is so relaxing. While many have criticized their recent album, it's actually the album that made me love them, and then I went back and listened to everything else and I love it all. (YES EVEN VIRUS)
8Paramore
Brand New Eyes

Hayley Williams is just an incredible vocalist. Her range is so ridiculously large it blows my mind every time i hear a new song
9Nothing More
The Stories We Tell Ourselves

Johnny Hawkins has such an under rated voice, and this band deserves more love because their albums are all pretty much perfect
10Escape the Fate
Ungrateful

Craig Mabbitt is another vocalist that just relaxes me with how raw it is. His screams are amazing too
