Nu Canada

So, haven't made a list in a long time (years?). Was getting ready to go to my buddy's to watch my Cubs probably fall 3-0 down to the Dodgers in the NLCS, but am jamming some of my favorite Canadian indie in preparation. Realized these four cornerstones of Canadian indie released albums this year, and their reception, on this site anyway, has ranged from "Who cares?" (Wolf Parade, New Pornographers) to "This sucks" (Arcade Fire), to "This is good, but I already don't care" (Broken Social Scene). I really dig all four albums and am a sucker for this northern country's output (excluded Mac DeMarco and haven't listened to the newest G!YBE joint). Anticipating greatly the new Destroyer album. Give these albums more love on this site!
