Favorite Long Songs

See list title. "Long" in this case refers to anything 10:00 or longer, not including Classical or Jazz music. One song per artist.
1BT
This Binary Universe

"The Antikythera Mechanism" (10:02) - I adore this melding of classical and electronic music. Anything else you guys can recommend?
2Nightwish
Once
3Norma Jean
O' God The Aftermath

"Disconnecktie: The Faithful Vampire" (10:02) - This album, and particularly this song, was instrumental in getting me into heavier music. This remains in the top 5 NJ songs for me.
4Art of Noise
(Who's Afraid Of?) The Art Of Noise!

"Moments In Love" (10:17) - This is one of my earliest, favorite songs. I remember hearing this on the radio when I was, say, 5 or 6. It took me literal decades to find out which song it was again, considering there are no words (I quite literally had nothing to go on except that it was used in a "Whoop! There It Is!" remix, and that's how I found it). Still an incredible track.
5Devin Townsend
Ocean Machine: Biomech

"Bastard" (10:17) - I love Devin, and this is probably my favorite 10:00+ track by him
6Opeth
Ghost Reveries

"Ghost of Perdition" (10:30) - My favorite Opeth song, as it turns out, is this glorious 10.5 minute opening track. Opeth might do long songs better than any other metal band, so I'm certain other people would have chosen, say, "The Moor" or "Blackwater Park," which are also incredible songs.
7Weird Al Yankovic
Running With Scissors

"Albuquerque" (11:25) - The fact that I can still listen to this over and over is a testament to how much it transcends simply being a funny song. Also, if you think it's weird, just listen to "Dick's Automotive" by The Rugburns, which this song is a parody of.
8Bob Dylan
Highway 61 Revisited

"Desolation Row" (11:26) - Because Dylan.
9Converge
Jane Doe

"Jane Doe" (11:34) - I absolutely hated Converge when I first heard them. This song made me change my mind.
10Enigma
MCMXC a.D.

"Principles of Lust" (11:44) - It's hokey now, and most people only know the first part of the song (which was released as a single called "Sadeness, Pt. I"), but I actually enjoy the entire thing. Enigma is a very 90's thing, but I honestly dig them.
11Sigur Ros
( )

"Untitled 8" (11:45) - Probably my favorite Post Rock song.
12Of Montreal
Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?

"The Past Is A Grotesque Animal" (11:53) - You ever listen to an album that has a song so good in the middle of it that you can't remember how any of the songs after it go, even after you've listened to the album on repeat? Yeah...that's this song "The mousy girl screams 'VIOLENCE! VIOLENCE!' She gets hysterical! Cause they're both so mean...and it's my favorite scene."
13Porcupine Tree
Deadwing

"Arriving Somewhere But Not Here" (12:02) - Porcupine Tree is one of my all-time favorite bands, and I can't think of a bad song they have that's over 10:00. This one, though, is a top 3 song across their entire catalogue.
14Karnivool
Sound Awake

"Deadman" (12:04) - One of the best songs from this band, absolutely! That's not an easy feat, either...it's just incredible how this song keeps your interest throughout the entire thing with only the melody and vocals, as opposed to most songs on here that have extended, minutes-long instrumental sections.
15Steven Wilson
The Raven That Refused to Sing (And Other Stories)

"Luminol" (12:10) - DAT. BASS. DOE.
16The Mars Volta
Frances the Mute

"Cygnus... Vismund Cygnus" (13:02) - My favorite Mars Volta song. "WHO DO YOU TRUST!?"
17Iron Maiden
Powerslave

"The Rime of the Ancient Mariner (13:35) - Adapting one of the greatest poems ever written into one of the greatest songs by one of the greatest metal bands to ever exist should probably be enough to make it onto a list like this.
18Pink Floyd
Wish You Were Here

"Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Pts. 1-5" (13:40) - Because Pink Floyd.
19Devin Townsend Project
Deconstruction

"The Mighty Masturbator" (16:28) - The reason I like this song so much is actually because it reprises the melody from "Numbered!" off of 'Addicted' in the beginning.
20NOFX
The Decline

"The Decline" (18:22) - Not just the best song by this band, but one of the pinnacles of the genre as a whole (and it's a big genre).
21Emerson, Lake and Palmer
Tarkus

"Tarkus" (20:42) - It's on here because of the album cover :P
22Dream Theater
Octavarium

"Octavarium" (24:00) - A band known for long songs, and I think this might be their longest (unless you count "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence" as one song). It's also my absolute favorite of their entire discography. It just comes together in the most satisfying way, even moreso if you've listened to the entire album in order. It embodies everything I love about Dream Theater.
23Edge of Sanity
Crimson

"Crimson" (40:00) - Actually not the longest song I have in my collection, but definitely the longest GOOD song I have.
