|Personal favorite THRASH METAL|
Alright you gambling goblins, I'm not a fan of thrash metal but there are a few albums I can tolerate, usually when it's doused with a bucket of PROG.
...And Justice For All
The only Metallica I truly love.
The Fragile Art Of Existence
Death with clean vocals. Excellent instrumentation and plenty of powerful tracks. I
Victims of Deception
Incredible album with some amazing songs to play along too. Probably my favorite thrash metal album.
Show No Mercy
Isn't amazing, but is quite catchy and fun...a "party thrash" album, if you will.
Kill 'Em All
Basically the same as point #4, but the guitar solos are incredible on this album. I also admire how young the musicians were and how much they accomplished.
It's musically orgasmic, but the vocals are annoying. Also has terrible production. But the lead guitar is some of the best I've ever heard and most of the music is something to be very much admired.
Fun proggy thrash metal with Invader Zim on vocals. My band covered a song off this album.
Speaking of my band, we opened for these guys a year ago. I probably wouldn't like this band without the personal connection, but they were very generous people and some of the Riggs get the noggin boggin.
Among The Living
Pretty fun and lighthearted thrash fun.
Ride The Lightning
Cool album with good songs, but I rarely ever listen to it and it just doesn't strike that much of a cord with me.
Haven't listened to anything else by this band, but holy moly does this album kick ass.
Verges into being fantastic at times.
Control And Resistance
Beautifully chaotic, slowly becoming a personal favorite.
Has a softer side, which is the side I like more.
