04.22.15 | GfK is definitely my favorite, and I'd probably put Raekwon at #2 and GZA at #3. I don't really care about the rest as far as solo tunes go tbh.

04.23.15 | GZA is best [4]
I think ghostface's output is more consistent but GZA's best stuff is some of the best rap I've heard |

2. Ghost
3. Deck
4. GZA
5. Meth
6. RZA
7. U-God
8. Masta Killa
9. ODB
10. Cappadonna
let's be honest here, GZA has the best and most consistent solo album out of all the wu members.. but no way he's a better emcee than Ghost and Rae both technically and content-wise |
jmh886
04.23.15 | wow ive never seen ugod higher than 10, interesting. |
dimsim3478
04.23.15 | GZA (Liquid Swords is perfect, even if it's his only album) > Rae (better style than Ghost, maybe GZA as well; solid solo discog) > Ghost (super consistent but at his best doesn't quite top Rae or GZA) > Meth or RZA (both have amazing styles but generally underwhelming solo work) |
jmh886
04.23.15 | dude, gza's got like 6 albums. get your facts straight. |
DominionMM1
04.23.15 | people acting like liquid swords is a solo album |
DoctorDoom
04.23.15 | Raekwon is way higher than 4th, great list, agree with a lot of the placement here. |

MVP of that Wu Tang forever dbl album. |

04.23.15 | "dude, gza's got like 6 albums. get your facts straight."
woah fuck, crazy typo. of course i knew he had 6 albums; i meant to say "even if it's his only amazing album". sorry.
"people acting like liquid swords is a solo album"
this definitely makes me reconsider my pick because so much of Liquid Swords' quality is owed to the production but every other great Wu "solo" album is also a strongly collaborative effort, mostly between RZA and the MC. so i guess when making these considerations you gotta factor out features and production and just focus on the main MC's contributions; even with all this, i still gotta give GZA #1. |
DominionMM1
04.23.15 | liquid swords' quality is also owed to all the killer verses from other wu tang members. same goes for albums like cuban linx and ironman. |
jmh886
04.23.15 | i would maybe put rae at 3, but gza and ghost def top him for me. rae's material is better than meth's, but meth kills almost every verse he's had as a guest or on wu albums. but that could go either way. his verse on house of flying daggers is probably my favorite. |
DominionMM1
04.23.15 | "meth kills almost every verse he's had as a guest or on wu albums"
so does deck. just because a dude has better "solo" records doesnt mean he's the superior mc. |
jmh886
04.23.15 | certainly not, but i just prefer meth. still love deck. |

04.23.15 | 1 is 1 fo sho no one beats ghost |

04.23.15 | meth's solo career is ass tho.. agreed on House of Flying Daggers, dope verse.
word to > Deck on Triumph, Ghost on Nutmeg, Rae on Knowledge God, GZA on Gold
