12.24.13 | I can see why many of think its overrated, and to an extent it is. However this record just means a ridiculous amount to me. This was the one record I was unable to put down this year. I also found myself relating to many of the lyrics, and "I am my father's son, I am no one, I cannot love, It's in my blood" in specific hits me extremely hard because that's how I've felt. In all this record makes me feel absolute rage and despair, then lifts me up at the end. Is it the best musically? No. But its my favorite and has a lot of meaning to me. |
