|Watch This Visual Ep|
So my friend Maarten makes music as "Wolf Theif" (among other
projects) and it's really damn good. Last year, he teamed up with two
amateur filmmakers to create a visual EP. The project took around a
year to fully realize, but it's at last complete. The film, Deprivation, is
based around the themes of the Wolf Thief EP, using it as its score. The
film is 25 minutes and it turned out better than I was anticipating.
Please, help my friends out and watch their art-y short film (which they
submitted to a number of festivals including Sundance), and share it if
you enjoy it (which I'm fairly certain most of you will). Independent of
the fact that three of my friends made it, I truly believe this is a great
piece of art, and would love for you to give it a watch. Cheers!
The EP and film are called "Deprivation." The film can be watched at

hey guys, it's a list by Aids. hey guys, it's an album by Laura Stevenson.
awwww ye I'm seeing this band in my favourite venue in Vancouver soon, opening
I am ecstatic to be seeing her live. But unfortunately this means I have to miss...
I hate that this is on the same night as Waxahatchee. I really want to see Shad
but he lives in Vancouver part of the year so I feel like I'll have a lot of chances to
see him. Swearin'/Waxahatchee are from the South I'm pretty sure, so they win.
Option #3 for that Friday night would be...
Something For All of Us...
Founding member of BSS on a solo tour. I don't know his solo stuff well (though I
obviously love Broken Social Scene), but the main reason I want to go is cause a
friend of mine is touring in his band, really exciting stuff for her. I think she's
opening with a set of her stuff too, which if you haven't heard yet...
check it out!
The Stand Ins
