Some Great Hiphop From The Last Few Years

Kinda bored right now, so i had the brilliant idea of creating a list on Sputnik. Title is self-explanatory
1Kendrick Lamar
good kid, m.A.A.d city

Not much to say here - this album's pretty much a modern classic. If you haven't heard it, you're probably living on mars.
2The Roots
undun

I really love this album - it's perfect in a unique kind of way that i really can't describe. It's also one of the albums that really got me into HipHop, so it's definitely on my list of personal classics.
3Casper
XOXO

You probably haven't heard this album unless you speak German. If you do speak German, you should definitely check this album out. Some really awesome personal HipHop mixed with kind of Indie - influenced beats.
4Kanye West
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

I've never heard an album quite like this, and i don't think i ever will. Kanye is simply a genius, always looking to push the boundaries of HipHop (and music in general, for that matter).
5Kendrick Lamar
Section.80

Not quite as good as good kid, m.A.A.d city, but an incredible album nonetheless, showcasing Kendricks immense talent and giving a taste of what was to come. This album introduced me to Kendrick, and even though i didn't dig it at first, i found myself coming back to it quite a few times, and eventually enjoying it quite a bit.
6Killer Mike
R.A.P. Music

Produced by El-P. Nuff said. Also Killer Mike spits fire across all 12 tracks.
7El-P
Cancer 4 Cure

El-P is, simply put, one of the best producers of our time. He's definitely up there with Kanye in terms of innovation, and this album not only proves his insane production skills, but also shows that he can write some damn good bars.
8Run the Jewels
Run the Jewels

Kind of obligatory since i put both R.A.P. Music and C4C here. More of the same stuff found on those 2 albums pretty much, but hell, there's really nothing wrong with that.
9Ghostface Killah
Twelve Reasons to die

Really great album, i love the production on it, and Ghostface delivers a great (albeit a bit too violent) story. If you like Wu-Tang, you're gonna love this.
10Macklemore and Ryan Lewis
The Heist

I have to say, I really like this album. It's a bit inconsistent at times, and i would have liked it to have less features (especially in terms of hooks - they are really hit-or-miss), but it's saved by some amazing lyrics and almost flawless production.
11Frank Ocean
Channel Orange
12Aesop Rock
Skelethon

Great album, but i hate the fact that i have to look up his lyrics to get what he's talking about.
13Drake
Take Care

A bit inconsistent, but i still enjoyed it.
14Earl Sweatshirt
Doris
15Eyedea & Abilities
By the Throat

If this album wouldn't feel so insanely unfinished it'd be a lot higher.
16Blu
No York!
17The Roots
Things Fall Apart

Is there some way
18The Roots
Things Fall Apart

to shorten
19The Roots
Things Fall Apart

my list
20The Roots
Things Fall Apart

after creating it?
